JUDAISM
Judaism is a monotheistic religion, with the Torah as its foundation text (part of the larger text known as the Tanakhor- Hebrew Bible). Judaism is considered by religious Jews to be the expression of the covenantal relationship with God. Judaism is the worlds 5 largest religion and Jews are spread throughout the world and they make up a large number of the population .

SYMBOLS
There is only one main symbol for Judaism and this is the Star of David ( dysplayed beside)
The start of David
Also known as "the Shield of David," this hexagram has been used as a symbol in Judaism since the 17th century. The symbol may have derived from the use of protective amulets that pre-date the 17th century. A blue-colored Star of David is presently displayed on the flag of Israel.

The Jewish liturgical calendar has many different celebrations and festivals one of the most important of these celebration is the Passover
The Passover
Pesach or Passover is a spring holiday commemorating the Exodus, the liberation of the Hebrews from slavery in Egypt in the time of Moses (circa 13th century BCE).Passover's name comes from the last of the Ten Plagues visited on the Egyptians by Yahweh before the Exodus. All firstborn male children were killed, but those Hebrew households that had slaughtered a lamb and marked their doorposts with its blood were "passed over." It is also an agricultural holiday commemorating the beginning of the harvest season, but this aspect of Passover is not emphasize. With he Passover being a festival about the harvest season it is celebrated with lots of food (displayed bellow)

Rituals
There are many ceremonies and rituals that are practiced by Jews. Each of these are scared and are normally practiced by all Jews. One of the main rituals is Kiddushin .
Kiddushin.
The Jewish marriage ceremony. It takes place under a huppah (canopy) and includes the ritual breaking of a glass underfoot. The breaking of the glass is an act to commemorate the destruction of the Jewish temple in 70 C.E.(displayed above)
